Mod Podge Fabric Eggs

I FOUND CUTE FABRIC!!! It was so cute I made me some Mod Podge Eggs. I only had 2 eggs left so I decided to make them door knob hangings! Of course as you have probably learned it usually always has ric rac or tulle on it. Ric Rac won this one! Love how they turned out! I found the instructions to make the eggs here.

Mod Podge Eggs

I saw some fun fabric eggs, but being that I am not a very experienced seamstress I don't have cute fabric laying around. But I do have TONS and TONS of paper! So I decided to Mod Podge paper one.
The trick is to get lots and lots of Mod Podge on your egg and paper so the paper becomes soft and will bend and mold to the egg. The larger eggs are paper mache and the small egg is just a small plastic Easter egg!
I love how these turned out! Fun center piece for Easter dinner!

Paper Flower & Card

HOW TO MAKE A PAPER FLOWER:

Step 1: Cut out 4 circles starting with 2 1/2 inches and going down a half inch for each one. I actually cut mine out on my Cricket!

Step 2: Rub a stamp pad around the edges and over the paper lightly

Step 3: make them into a ball like you are going to throw them away.

Step 4: Unfold the ball and you have your petals

I actually burned my edges just barely so they were not perfectly round!

The green center is ribbon that I just tied a knot in and tucked in the edges!

ENJOY

Canvas

I LOVE simple art work but at art shows they are pricey! My sister being an artist designed this for me! Hooray a Whitney original! All she did was put the 3 canvas' together taped them off and mixed her colors to match my bed! It turned out wonderfully!

She just used acrylic paint we got from an art store!

Moss Wreath

I have seen these made and man they are expensive in the stores, so I made my own! They are so fast and easy. It took me about a half an hour! NAP TIME CRAFT!!
Hot glue your moss to your foam wreath! LOTS AND LOTS OF HOT GLUE!

Flip it over, glue hanging moss and add more to finish off both sides!

HINT: I learned the hard way...it would be easier if you painted the foam wreath green so you didn't have to add nearly as much moss to cover the white!

Table Makeover

Hooray my table is DONE!! It was so much fun to do. Now instead of being a sore spot it is a highlight! For the top I striped off the polyurethane and applied 2 coats of a darker stain. For the pedestal I spray painted it with Kilz, sanded it, and stained over the top!!

Shelves and Curtains

I have seen some cool curtains made out of sheets. So I decided to try my own. I cut them down to the size of the shelves, hemmed the bottoms and sides, stapled them to the under side of the shelves and tied ribbon around them. So easy and cost effective. I also made the shelves to go above my window! I wanted something different!
