I just finished this dress for my little one! I love how it turned out! I used a Portabella Pixie pattern and changed the top to straps instead of a yoke. This is my first time sewing in a long time! Sewing sure is rewarding though!!
I have a round table I have been dying to revamp but never knew how. I found this beautiful Revamp on Rocky Bella that has motivated me to redo mine! Before and after picture of mine to come!
So I finally did it! My Etsy store is up and running. I put Hair flowers on there today! So check it out here. More items to come, I just have not decided what I want to put on there!
I love washer necklaces because the sky is the limit with them! They are so easy to make too.
What you need:
Cute paper
Emery board
exacto knife
Good glue stick
Diamond Glaze
Washers (any size works)
ribbon
1- Put glue on your washer AND on your paper and press the two together. Make sure you put it on both otherwise you may get bubbles once the Diamond Glaze is applied!
2-Use your exacto knife and cut around your washer. On the inside and outside edges.
3-Use your emery board to round off the edges
4- Apply your diamond glaze to only the top! Let dry for at least 2 hours before touching
5- Add ribbon and enjoy!
I am actually using these for Relief Society Birthday gifts so I put it on card stock and wired it to the back!!
I have been making these stackers and giving them to my friends when they have their babies! They are so much fun to make and so fast.
Cut your 2 x 4 in to 8, 7, and 6 inch blocks. Then cut your blocks in half length wise so now you have 6 blocks stain them, mod podge on your paper, apply letters and you are set with an original and fun gift for a new will baby!! What is even better is you have 2 sets!!
I have a guest room that really really needs help! My Grammy came for the week and brought her embroidery machine, we knocked ourselves out! I LOVE HATS so this is the start to a new room!!!
We found these fun patterns and went crazy! This is definitely a work in progress so there will be more to come. I have to say I never was much into embroidery but it is quite and art and so much fun!
So if you have not noticed I am on a frame kick! I see all these frames I love but can't bring myself to pay $50 or more for them. So I create my own!!
This one was so much fun. I actually just ripped the bead board down the center of one of the beads, cut out the center with my scroll saw put a picture frame in the back in the opening.
I put chair rail over the opening of the bead board to make it all straight and stream line. ENJOY!
I have wanted one of these for a long time. But they are really expensive to buy so I finally got around to making one! I love it! It adds so much to my front room. I wouldn't say it was too hard to make, the dimensions were just hard to get right! Email me if you want the dimensions!
